2018 Canadian Championships information

November 21, 2017

Given the various recent United World Wrestling changes to the international tournament structure, Wrestling Canada Lutte (WCL) was faced with reassessing the tournament structure of the upcoming 2018 Canadian Championships.

Recognizing that some proposed recommendations cannot be feasibly resolved in a short-time frame, the following revisions have been approved by the Management Team for the 2018 Canadian Championships. Also included is an update to the Coaching Certification Requirements for the Canadian Championships.

WCL will continue to review the Canadian Championship format and structure beyond 2018 and will solicit more comprehensive feedback in the new year.
