Cost – $60 per wrestler
The purpose of this training opportunity will be to be provide our youth wrestlers with a chance to train/wrestle/compete in a condensed time frame to improve their wrestling skills, physical conditioning, and mental strength. These objectives will be taught and facilitated at an age appropriate level. Focus will also be given to leadership, team building, and an introduction to mental skills such as positive self talk and goal setting.
This camp will have a competition component as well. The last session will feature a “take down” dual meet between two teams. Each team will have a coach. Coaches will be named very soon. The coaches will each lead a team from the beginning of camp and help facilitate many of the camp goals. Teams will be selected by me in advance of camp.
Each camper will receive:
- training journal
- water bottle
- an opportunity to compete for camp awards
Wrestlers will need:
- wrestling boots or indoor sneakers
- bagged lunch and snacks, including sports drink or water
- 2-3 t shirts per day
- hygiene products
- a good attitude and a teachable spirit

12:00 PM – Session #1 – Goal Setting/Footwork/Stance & Motion/Fundamental Movement Patterns
1:45 PM – Nutrition Break/Lunch/Down Time with Team
3:00 PM – Session #2 – Control Positions/Takedowns/Turns
5:00 PM – Dismissal for the day.
Sunday Dec 30
8:45 AM – Check in and get ready to go.
9:00 AM – Session #3 – Positional Wrestling/Live Situations/Live Par Terre
10:45 AM – Nutrition Break/Lunch/Down Time with Team
12:00 PM – Inaugural Christmas Take Down Dual
2:00 PM – Camp Awards and Good Bye
