Vanessa Keefe travelled to Ontario on the weekend to compete in the Ragnarok and K-bay Opens held in Etobicoke and Barrie respectively.  These tournaments are mostly a highschool age tourney with Open categories.

Vanessa, only in grade 9, competed in the Girls Open 72kg category.  At the Ragnarok Vanessa went 3-0 to take home the Gold and at K-bay went 3-1 to leave with Silver.  All while wrestling girls in grades 10,11,12.

These tough tournaments will help Vanessa prepare for her first Nationals, being held in Fredericton, in April.
