Team PEI competed at the 2022 Alberta Open in Edmonton this past weekend. PEI sent 7 wrestlers and came home with 6 medals.

Everyone fought extremely hard and that hard work paid off with 6 medals for Team PEI.

Beatrice Galaise went undefeated on her way to Gold in the U17 -80kg division. Lydia Enman, in her first ever wrestling tournament, won Bronze in the U19 62kg while Vanessa Keefe, wrestling up an age group, (76kg) and Bella Galaise (65kg) both took home Silver in the U21 age category.

For the Guys RJ Hetherington won Silver at U19 65kg while Christian Desreux went 3W 1L to secure Bronze at Jr 86kg. Andrew Clow again fought hard, however, went winless in the tough 86kg Jr division.
